This substantial, iconic, Grade ll* listed, end-terraced Italianate building, which was built in the late 19th century, is now split into sympathetically divided apartments, each with totally unique features. Elliot Terrace was the home of Lady Nancy Astor and the famous author, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Situated in an unrivalled location, some of the apartments enjoy spectacular views across the historic Plymouth Hoe and Sound, to Drakes Island in the bay and the far distant horizon. The apartments have panoramic, dual aspect windows, beautifully decorative cornicing and architectural details. The world renowned Plymouth Hoe is a fascinating place to visit, with the red and white striped lighthouse high up on the esplanade. Guests can enjoy the outdoor lido swimming pool, and the historic Barbican with its cobbled streets. Each apartment provides a parking permit for one car free of charge, however, should you need more, then extra parking is available by arrangement with the owner. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
Spoilt for choice - riverside or seaside beach house? South West England is UK at its best. Families will find cottages that accept dogs in Tamar Valley, Padstow and the Lizard Peninsula or Exeter - some have Easter breaks.
