Welcome to No. 8, a deceptively spacious miner’s cottage offering comfort and character throughout. You can park at the rear of the property and enter directly into the open-plan kitchen-diner, where a well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for a relaxing stay. The cosy living room features a beautiful fireplace with a wood burner, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Upstairs are two inviting double bedrooms, with a Z-bed available for a child, along with a stunning bathroom complete with a shower. You’ll be spoilt for choice with beautiful beaches less than 30 minutes away. Portreath and Porthtowan are favourites among surfers, while Gyllyngvase in Falmouth offers a long stretch of flat, golden sand perfect for children. Gwithian in Hayle is another popular spot, home to expansive sand dunes and rock pools that little ones will love exploring.
The region is rich in history, particularly its tin-mining heritage. A visitto the King Edward Mine Museum provides a fascinating glimpse into Cornwall’s industrial past, or you can walk among the atmospheric remains of abandoned engine houses along The Flat Lode Trail.
For nature lovers and walkers, Tehidy Park is must-see. As the largest woodland in West Cornwall, it offers miles of scenic paths, tranquil lakes, and plenty of wildlife to spot along the way.
