Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.

Extra Amenities

Situated on the owners’ 300-acre, working dairy farm with some public footpaths passing through, these three semi-detached, converted barns are ideal for a relaxing holiday with a quiet lane passing by. Milk Churn (ref UKC2400) sleeps four, Hay Rick (ref UKC2401) sleeps 8 and Scrumpy Barn (ref UK12014) sleeps 6. They have all been decorated and furnished to a very good standard. The Milk Churn and Scrumpy Barn have an open plan living space, whilst Hay Rick offers a spacious living/dining room and separate kitchen. Each have private outside seating areas, with amazing views across the Devon countryside, which is perfect for sitting down at the end of the day with a glass of wine.


The properties are set in a quiet village location and are only a short walk from the local village pub/restaurant. There are many walks that can be taken on the farm, see the cows go in for milking or just enjoy the peace and quiet. Dartmoor is just a short car drive away, where you can enjoy a Devon cream tea in one of the small beautiful villages. Take a walk on the Tors or stop to see the ponies.

Exeter and Plymouth are both within a 30-minute drive.

Plymouth has the Hoe, Barbican and many shops, and Exeter has its cathedral and quay. Teignmouth beach is less than 4 miles away and is ideal for a day out at the seaside. Visit Dawlish Warren, where you will find a nature reserve, beach, amusements and pubs. Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth are also all worth visiting. Fans of Agatha Christie can visit Greenway, her family holiday home, which is open to the public. Beach 4 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
