Kinbrae Apartment is a beautifully furnished, two bedroom apartment located in the heart of Wellswood in Torquay, within walking distance of good quality restaurants, pubs and a food store. The building is a handsome Victorian villa originally named ’Shearbridge’, and it has a blue plaque to mark the fact that it was the birthplace and childhood home of the famous actor/comedian Peter Cook. Upon entering this delightful first floor apartment, you enter the bright and airy entrance hallway. Both bedrooms are to your right, one with a kingsize bed, and the other with a super kingsize zip and link bed, which can be made as twin beds.

Both bedrooms have a Smart TV, seating area and plenty of storage. 300 thread count bed linen and Christy towels are also provided. The tasteful, modern kitchen has all the amenities you need. The shower room boasts a large walk-in shower and glossy marble effect tiles. The living/dining area is grand in decor and as you enter, there is an electric flame-effect fire surrounded by decorative marble. There is a large recliner leather sofa and extending table, along with a Smart TV, Blu-ray player and DAB radio with bluetooth for those cosy nights in.

Meadfoot Beach and Ansteys Cove are just a short walk down the road, and there are plenty of attractions nearby such as Babbacombe model village, Babbacombe theatre and the infamous ’Kents Cavern’, which again is within walking distance. Chic restaurants, bistros, delis and boutique shops are within a 5-minute walk, and everything that Torquay has to offer is within a 5-minute drive down to the harbourside, where you will be spoilt for choice.
