There are over 18 major attractions including Living Coasts, Torquay’s award-winning coastal zoo, which is home to a magnificent array of marine life from around the world.

Agatha Christie was born in the Riviera town of Torquay, and spent many of the most important chapters of her life here, as well as using real places in the area as settings for her murder mysteries. The true story of Agatha Christie’s life is every bit as intriguing and fascinating as her books, and nowhere can you get closer to her legacy than here on the English Riviera.
Dartmoor is just on the doorstep and is a walkers’ paradise at anytime of year. Whilst many people come to Dartmoor to enjoy the beautiful scenery, and to recharge their batteries, many come to get active! With over 450 miles of public rights of way, there is an abundance of walking routes to suit all tastes and abilities. Dartmoor also boasts a variety of cycle routes, both on and off road, where you can make it as challenging as you like.

You can also enjoy horse-riding, climbing, letterboxing, geocaching or kayaking.
Further afield is Plymouth, where you can visit the National Marine Aquarium which is ideal for children and adults, as well as the Eden Project, which is a fabulous day out.
Take a walk along the South West Coast Path which runs along the entire length of the Jurassic Coast and offers walkers stunning scenery, with a bird’s eye view of many coastal features. From the coast path you can experience the drama of sheer cliff faces, take in the wonderful towns of Beer, the ‘picture postcard’ fishing village, or Budleigh Salterton.
