Right in the centre of the bustling seaside village of Woolacombe, The Nook is an ideal spot for those wanting a traditional seaside holiday. Located on the ground floor of an apartment complex, all the delights that Woolacombe has to offer are only a stones throw away. Most importantly, the property is within easy walking distance to Woolacombe’s magnificent award-winning beach. Inside, the apartment has been tastefully furnished to provide comfortable surroundings after a busy day exploring the local area. It also has the added bonus of access to a gravel courtyard area. All of Woolacombe’s shops, restaurants, bars and other amenities are right on the doorstep, so you can really soak up the atmosphere of the village.
If you fancy a day away from the beach, there are plenty of other things to do during your stay. Nearby Ilfracombe has all the amenities of a bigger town with a wider range of pubs, restaurants and shops to choose from. The famous Tunnels Beaches is just around the corner, and a short walk away is Ilfracombe’s pretty harbour area, with its quay side, lifeboat station and church overlooking the Bristol Channel.
There are numerous attractions within easy reach of the property including the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth funicular railway.
There are also beaches at Croyde and Saunton, where again you will find some of the best surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor and the South West Coastal Path are located close by, and on a clear day the views of the surrounding coast and countryside can be spectacular from these well known walking areas. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
