Extra Amenities

Grays Cottages is situated in a quiet residential area of the popular seaside resort of Bridlington, yet all the amenities are just a short stroll away. This delightful, well-equipped and spacious bungalow is less than a mile from the award-winning, Bridlington beach. The property benefits from private parking and an enclosed garden making it a great place for the children to play whilst you can enjoy the decked seating area that catches the sun most of the day.
Bridlington is still a very busy fishing town and you can watch the catch being brought into the harbour. It also boasts two wonderful large sandy beaches that are nice and flat, again perfect for those with children.

The town centre has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops as well as the Bridlington Spa Theatre, home to lots of international acts throughout the year. The leisure centre has swimming pools, splash pools, climbing walls, gymnasiums and saunas. It is one of the best leisure centres down this coast and very popular both with the locals and the tourists.
From Bridlington you can walk along the cliff tops to the village of Sewerby, home to Sewerby Hall, a magnificent stately home that is open to the public. There’s also a small land train that travels along the cliff tops to the hall. There are lots of activities arranged for children at Sewerby Hall plus an excellent café.

Flamborough Head, Filey and Scarborough are to the north. All of them great resorts to take the family. There is the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs where you can see the puffins perched on the cliffs. The cities of Hull and York are just an hour’s drive away. Hull was the UK City of Culture in 2017 and York has been voted every year as being in the top 10 cities to visit in the UK. York is a medieval city with the Minster standing proud overlooking the city walls. Grays Cottage makes a great base to visit the east coast, the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Wolds. Beach 1 mile. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
