Newly refurbished interior (2023), Jasmine Lodge is tucked away on the well-established Florida Keys Holiday Park on the outskirts of Wilberfoss, close to the historic city of York is Jasmine Lodge. All ground-floor and sleeping up to four guests, this well-presented lodge makes for a great setting for your family adventure to York.
Be welcomed into the spacious living/dining room, with beautiful high ceilings, where you can look forward to curling in front of the electric fire after a long day exploring the local area. Cook up some delicious home cooked food in the modern, well-stocked kitchen and come together to enjoyat the well-placed dining table.
The French doors flood this open plan living area with natural light and also offer access to additional seating on the enclosed decking. Take a soak in the bath before retiring to one of the two well-presented bedrooms; choose between a twin, and the master bedroom which has access to the bathroom.
The pretty village of Wilberfoss offers a good selection of eateries and a well-stocked village store. A little further afield is the thriving town of Pocklington, where you will find a plethora of independent shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and convenience stores. The historic city of York is just a 25-minute drive away.
Rail enthusiasts will delight at the National Railway Museum York, which houses an expansive collection of vintage trains, including a world record holder. The iconic York Minster, Jorvik, York Chocolate Story and Castle Museum must visit attractions. The East Yorkshire bus goes to York every half hour. The stately home of Castle Howard, home to Brideshead Revisited and more recently Bridgerton is within reach as is the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. This area offers miles of walking and cycling opportunities so don’t forget your bikes!
