Set on a little terrace of only four cottages which back onto the River Esk, with gated access to the stepping stones, Esk Cottage dates back to the 1850s and offers a character property in a tranquil location for a relaxing holiday escape.

It was recently extensively refurbished in 2021 to provide modern amenities. There are wooden shutters in several rooms, and you will find adjustable mood and reading lighting in the bedoom, along with a wall mounted Freeview TV.

Egton Bridge is one of the prettiest villages in the North York Moors National Park and is a perfect location for exploring both the North York Moors and the Heritage Coast of Yorkshire ,with the ancient sea port of Whitby just 8 miles and quaint fishing villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay just a short drive. Egton Bridge has two pubs, both providing dining, whilst one has recently opened a farmshop in its grounds.
