Set just a short walk from the central square in Grassington, this 17th-century cottage has been lovingly restored and furnished to make a cosy ’home from home’. There are wonderful walks direct from the door, with the added advantage of having pubs and restaurants within easy strolling distance which cater for those who like both pub grub and fine dining. Grassington is a hive of activity with a summer arts festival boasting famous celebrities, painters, comedians and poets.
In winter it plays host to the Dickensian Festival to help you get in the Christmas spirit.
Grassington itself is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and provides easy access to stunning scenery, so regardless of whether you are walking, touring or cycling, the view is always magnificent. The bustling market town of Skipton is just 9 miles away and boasts a Norman castle standing at the head of a wide, sweeping, cobbled high street. Here you will find a bustling market and a wide variety of shops and restaurants, together with canal trips, an indoor swimming pool and a golf course.
The National Trust property of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden is just a short drive and makes for a lovely day out, where you can take a picnic and enjoy the grounds.
