The hut is named after the devoted dog ‘Keeper’ belonging to Emily Bronte, and is ideally situated, surrounded by fields and countryside views enjoying direct access onto the ‘Pennine Way’ and many famous walks including The Bronte Way, Millennium Way, The Railway Children Trail, Top Withens’ and Bronte Falls. Inside the hut, you are greeted by an open-plan design incorporating the living space with a cosy log-burner, an enclosed kingsize bed with storage and a fully fitted kitchen/dining area with an oak drop down table, leather chairs and cow-hide cushions.
An oak door leads to a family bathroom benefitting from a shower and wall-mounted heated towel rail.
While away the evening enjoying freshly cooked pizza on the wood-fired pizza oven, toasting marshmallows on the Kadai firepit or soaking in the beautiful ‘Hikki’ hot tub while stargazing at the night sky with only the comforting sound of sheep or owls calling to break the silence. When sleep calls, sink into the luxurious kingsize bed with Egyptian cotton bed linen, rest your head and recharge ready to explore all that this outstanding area has to offer the next day. Be sure to visit the nearby village of Haworth, home of the famous Brontë sisters and the inspiration for many of their famous novels; Haworth is an undisputed literary mecca, attracting visitors from all around the world.
With its historic cobbled Main Street, iconic Bronte Parsonage and rolling moors, the picturesque proportions of this Airedale village exude a vintage charm that makes you feel you’ve stepped into another era. There are also a wide variety of quaint eateries and pubs for refuelling before leaving the village and exploring the lonely moors beyond where the Brontë sisters found their inspiration.
