Hideaway Apartment is a superb studio apartment located in the small West Yorkshire village of Denby Dale. The Studio has a living/dining/bedroom area, along with a separate kitchen. Set above an established tea room, it makes a perfect base for couples wanting to explore this wonderful part of the country. Denby Dale is a delightful village set on the banks of the River Dearne, with an iconic landmark railway viaduct. It offers real character and charm, together with an 18ft long pie dish flower planter outside what is fondly known as Pie Hall.
Ideally situated for the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District National Park and Yorkshire Pennines, the surrounding area is home to beautiful countryside just waiting to be explored.

Locally, the nearby Grade II Listed Emley TV mast is the tallest self-supporting structure in Britain, and within ½ mile is the popular wedding venue Bagden Hall. Only 4 miles away, Midgley 9-hole pay and play golf course offers stunning views across the local countryside. A ride on the Kirklees Light Railway offers stunning views of the Dearne Valley and there’s the National Mining Museum, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Holmfirth, the backdrop to the TV series Last of The Summer Wine.

There’s also Cannon Hall, the Hepworth Gallery, the Royal Armouries and the grand stately home of Wentworth Castle all easily accessible.
The nearest large town is Huddersfield which has excellent train links to Manchester, Leeds and York, all of which combine culture, history and shopping experiences. Denby Dale also has its own train station just ½ mile from the property with a direct hourly service to Sheffield and Huddersfield.
