Smallshaw Cottages be found in an elevated position, with a setting that can only be described as stunning. Offering fabulous panoramic views of the Peak District National Park, this wing of a larger property has been lovingly restored and offers enough space to enjoy a family escape to the country. The Farmhouse retains its original character through exposed beams and stonework, and has also been lovingly and attractively furnished throughout. The Farmhouse enjoys use of extensive gardens shared with the other properties on-site, offering fabulous views and a variety of seating areas which provide the perfect place to unwind on warmer days. The gardens are complemented even further by use of a shared hot tub, Finnish barbecue house (available on request, at cost) and tennis courts.

The on-site spa is complete with steam rooms, saunas, foot spas, an aromatherapy room, tropical experience shower and a Rasul mud room, as well as an outdoor area with wood-fired tub (all available at cost). Inspired by the relaxing, calming and revitalising aura of South East Asia, the spa is a haven in which to enjoy incredible facilities, set within stunning countryside, just perfect to energise the soul.

Surrounded by open fields and with uninterrupted views of the moors, Smallshaw Cottages are ideally located if you love the great outdoors. Overlooking the Trans Pennine Trail, and withyour four-legged friends welcome, local walks are plentiful with many reservoirs and trails on the doorstep.

There is an excellent choice of country pubs and restaurants within easy reach, and nearby attractions include the bustling town of Holmfirth, Chatsworth House, Harewood House, the ever popular market town of Bakewell or spa town of Buxton.
