Everything about this cottage is quality and you will not be disappointed. There are some wonderful walks straight from your cottage door that lead up to Cropton Forest with miles of woodland walks. Situated in the village of Wrelton just west of Pickering and to the south of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The village has a local pub and a good village community.
The market town of Pickering is just 3 miles away.
Here you’ll find the famous North Yorkshire Moors steam railway. Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey and Whitby are all easily accessible by car. The magnificent city of York is less than an hour away. York is voted every year as one of the top 10 cities to visit in the UK.
There’s so much to do from museums, theatres, the railway museum and an excellent place to shop. Just sit in one of the street cafés and watch the street entertainers or have a walk along the Shambles, a cobbled street with preserved Elizabethan houses. The cottage is a great base to see all of what Yorkshire has to offer. Beach 20. 5 miles. Shop 1. 5 miles, pub and restaurant 20 yards.
