Rosebank Cottage is a great choice for couples, with a spacious double bedroom and large shower room with a double walk-in shower. The cottage is the perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring.


Out and about you are perfectly positioned with lots of walking routes to be discovered straight from the village. A short drive will take you into the Yorkshire Dales, or head over to the historic market town of Richmond with its famous castle, riverside walks, quaint cobbled market place, interesting shops, galleries and boutiques. In the opposite direction you will find the beautiful town of Barnard Castle where you can spend the day strolling around the castle ruins and riverside walks, or the towns antique shops and galleries.

The famous Bowes Museum is always a huge attraction with many interesting exhibits. For the more energetic the Yorkshire Dales are on your doorstep, whether you head to Wensleydale or Swaledale, with walks and hikes to suit all abilities. Picture postcard villages and bustling market towns can be found along your route. Shop 2 miles, pub 300 yards and restaurant 2 miles
