Full of charm and character, it retains its Victorian spiral staircase and fireplaces, and has old oak beams throughout. The Chantry has long been a place of sanctuary and replenishment for locals and travellers alike and continues to serve as a bolt hole for respite and adventure. It has car access for (un)loading, and is a great base for exploring this stunning region. The village is on the East Jurassic Coastline, a must for fossil hunters! The countryside offers breathtaking views and the Coast to Coast walk ends here, passing through the Cleveland Way. Shops, pubs and restaurants 100 yards.
