Signals Court is a semi-detached house set in a quiet cul-de-sac with a south-facing, enclosed lawned garden to the rear, a great place for children and pets to play in. The property has the advantage of private parking, which is perfect as you have so much to do on the doorstep that the car may never be needed. The Alpamare waterpark is just around the corner, with its fantastic wave pool and waterslides, as well as a large infinity pool. Keep your children entertained with the ’splash and play’ area.
A short stroll and you are on the North Bay where the Sealife Centre is, where you can see the magnificent sharks or feed the playful penguins.
You can walk from here all the way along the promenade from the quieter North Bay to the livelier South Bay. It is a lovely flat walk so great for all ages to have a stroll along the seafront. The two bays have lovely, large sandy beaches making them perfect for your family holiday. Peasholm Park is also close by, where you can hire pedaloes and rowing boats to go around the lake and see the stunning gardens.
Scarborough is famous for its theatres. There is an outdoor theatre which stages concerts by some of music’s big names, and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is famous for the premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays.
The YMCA also provides some excellent entertainment throughout the year. The cricket festival is held every August, and once again is just a short stroll from Signals Court. It has been held in Scarborough since 1876, and has seen many famous players attend the festival. A bus stop can be found just 200 yards away, making getting around extremely easy. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards
