This detached cottage, one of four, is set along a private drive on the edge of Skipton, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Designed and furnished by an interior architect, it is a wonderful romantic getaway with a welcome pack of local produce and a bottle of wine, robes and toiletries provided for an added touch of luxury. The double jacuzzi bath gives guests a complete private hot tub experience without having to venture outside. Stroll through the nearby park to an indoor swimming pool, or a little further to the centre of this historic market town with its Norman castle. Riddlesden Hall (NT), 10 miles. Visit the Forest of Bowland an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or a day trip to York or nearby Harrogate. Alternatively catch the train from Skipton to Leeds, shop till you drop and lunch at a cafe. Quaint Yorkshire villages such as Kettlewell home to The Calendar Girls, Grassington where All creatures Great and Small is filmed or Malham are well worth a visit. Shop and pub ½ mile.
