This is a wonderfully picturesque setting to enjoy a well-deserved break.
Enter into the tastefully furnished living room with open fire, perfect for snuggling up during those colder evenings. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen and dining area with its lovely modern style with all of the amenities you could want during your holiday.
Upstairs are two fabulous bedrooms, one a kingsize and the other a twin, both designed to leave you feeling relaxed and well rested. The main bathroom also has that modern touch and boasts a double shower over the bath, which completes this terrific property.
Gargrave has all of the amenities you could need with some fine pubs, shops and eateries. Why not enjoy a wonderful walk along the River Aire from the doorstep, which will take you towards the historic town of Skipton, with its 900-year old castle and quaint cobbled streets.
Embsay Steam Railway is only a mile away from there and operates regularly towards picturesque Bolton Abbey. The famous limestone cliffs of Malham Cove are just 7 miles from Gargrave and are well worth visiting. The Yorkshire Dales National Park, Harrogate, York and the Lake District are all within driving distance. Whether you choose Duck Cottage as a base to explore or simply to enjoy Gargrave itself, your only regret will be that you hadn’t booked for longer. Shop, pub and restaurant 175 yard
