A stunning two bedroom apartment in an popular area of Whitby, just a stone’s throw away from the famous Whitby whale bone arch. The property benefits from a private parking space at your door, so need to worry about parking on your arrival or return from a day’s adventure! The master bedroom is spacious with kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room, and the second bedroom benefits from being next to the family bathroom. The open plan living space is spacious and comfortable with a coal-effect fire offering a cosy glow, perfect for relaxing in front of the Smart TV after a day out in one of the many attractions in and around Whitby.
The coast is just a short walk from your doorstep where you can enjoy over 1½ miles of golden sands, including a designated dog walking area. You can also enjoy donkey rides or just take a stroll with an ice cream whilst enjoying fantastic views out to sea and across to the abbey, made famous by Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Head into the town centre where you will find plenty of quaint shops selling all sorts of curiosities from Whitby Jet jewellery to Gothic clothing. Whitby has a hugely popular food and drink scene with many bistros and café bars, as well as traditional fish and chip shops and tea rooms. There are many pubs and bars that offer a warm welcome to dogs and humans alike, as well as the many festivals and events that take place in the town such as the bi-annual Goth Weekender, Steam Punk weekends and the famous folk week.
Venture just a little further out of town for a game of golf or explore some of the hidden gems to be found all along the coast.
Take a visit to Robin Hoods Bay, which can be accessed along the Cinder track and Cleveland Way, or any number of bays and coves along this magnificent coastline including Staithes, Runswick Bay and Saltburn. For a complete contrast, you can head inland and take in the breathtaking scenery of the North York Moors National Park. For a different kind of day you can take a steam train from Whitby into Goathland, also known as Aidensfield in the popular Heartbeat TV series. With so much to see and do on your doorstep you may need more than one visit. The traditional Victorian seaside town of Scarborough, just half an hour away with Alpamar Waterpark, Open Air Theatre, attracting some of the worlds top names, and Sealife Centre. Beach 400 yards.
