Whitby itself is a charming seaside town steeped in history. Famous for its abbey ruins, Dracula connections, and award-winning fish and chips, it’s a destination full of character. Whether you’re strolling along the harbour, browsing the boutiques, or venturing on a coastal walk, this is Yorkshire at its finest.

The North Yorkshire coast is dotted with some of the most picturesque villages in England, each with its own unique charm. Robin Hood’s Bay is a maze of cobbled streets and fishermen’s cottages that tumble down towards the sea, steeped in smuggling history and coastal folklore.
Staithes is a captivating village where time seems to stand still, with its narrow lanes and art galleries nestled between the cliffs. Sandsend offers a more tranquil beach experience with sweeping sands, meanwhile, Runswick Bay and its sheltered cove and calm waters are ideal for kayaking or wild swimming. Each of these locations are within easy reach, offering a glimpse into the rich heritage of the Yorkshire coast
