The open fire in the cosy living room makes Pebble Cottage perfect for romantic winter breaks with days walking the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast, Aldeburgh Beach is only a 2-minute walk away. This is an old fisherman’s cottage with very steep stairs to the first floor leading to the master bedroom and a very small second bedroom.
In the summer Aldeburgh is a hive of activity and a much sought after location. Its high street is filled with restaurants, pubs and shops. Along the promenade, fresh fish is sold from the beach huts that line the sandy stretch of beach - the iconic scallop shell sculpture standing proud in the centre, a tribute to Benjamin Britten, the composer famously affiliated with this beautiful part of the world. Surrounding Aldeburgh there is plenty to see and do and a short drive inland will bring you to Snape Maltings, the home of Aldeburgh Music.
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is a year round music programme. This unique location brings visitors outstanding concerts, events, cafés, galleries, river trips and much more. On road parking is available a short walk from the property. Alternatively, there is a church car park for short stays, overnight is not available unless agreed with the church in advance. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards
