Admiral’s Rest is located in the popular seaside town of Cromer, just a 15-minute walk from the seafront, and a 10-minute walk from the Royal Cromer Golf Course. This comfortably furnished, well-equipped former hotel has been sympathetically converted into apartments, boasting single-level, ground floor accommodation with light and spacious rooms with high ceilings and large windows. There is private parking in the forecourt at the rear of the building, and the property also benefits from its own private entrance, in addition to step free access via the communal entrance hallway.
Cromer has an excellent wide beach, promenade, pier, RNLI working life boat museum and station, cliff top golf course, Amazona Zoo and a train station, and the town centre has many shops, cafes and pubs. The coastal path winds along the cliff top of Cromer onto neighbouring seaside resorts and Cromer carnival week is held the third week of August. There is a children’s playing field with swings and slides just a 3-minute walk away.
Places of historical interest include the National Trust properties of Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Blakeney Quay, 13 miles.
The Georgian market town of Holt, 12 miles, has excellent walking and cycle opportunities. The Saltmarsh RSPB Nature and Bird Reserves are also nearby, Norwich city, with its cathedral, castle, museum, theatre, excellent shopping, cafes and restaurant is 22 miles away. Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads is 20 miles away and offers daily river trips, and boat hire is available to explore the miles of inland waterways. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub ½ mile
