The open plan living areas and floor to ceiling windows open out onto Juliet balconies and include a private sun terrace. Beccles is the heart of the Southern Broads that form part of the Norfolk Broads National Park. This quaint market town is host to delightful pubs, restaurants and artisan cafés. The River Waveney runs right through the town and you can hire day boats close by and there are marked walking routes and perfect wildlife spotting from the elevated position of the apartment. Beccles Lido, a traditional outdoor heated swimming pool that sits alongside the river, is a ’must see and do’ experience during the warmer months. To the east you can visit Lowestoft, with sandy beaches, traditional piers and fine seafood dining. To the west you will find Norwich, a fine city, home to a castle, cathedral and superb shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Beach 10½ miles. Shops, pubs and restaurants 400 yards.
Can't make your mind up - city break or beach holiday? East of England is very hospitable. There is plenty of short breaks with dogs in South Suffolk, Sudbury or Sudbury - some have disabled acccess.
