The Herdwick Hideaway is a charming pet-friendly Shepherds Hut located within the grounds of Godwick Hall, an impressive piece of Norfolk. Private and peaceful, rural, relaxing and luxurious. Perfect for a romantic getaway or walking holiday with your four-legged companion. Close to nature, but within striking distance of the luxury of Godwick Hall, The Herdwick Hideaway is luxury dog-friendly accommodation that is both quirky and rustic, but also comfortable. The accommodation comes with some fabulous mod cons and has lovely design features, such as oak wooden floors, butler sinks, and a narrow boat wood burner.

Hot running water, a mini-fridge, microwave, oak worktop, toilet, shower and of course a lovely double bed. As well as a comfortable night’s sleep, guests can order a Continental or bacon buttie breakfast to be delivered to the hut along with a host of other extras that can be ordered when you book your stay, such as a bottle of Fizz chilling in your fridge, a BBQ, a BBQ meat pack, firepits, and extra wood. There are 3 Shepherds huts on site and each hut remains true to the beautiful landscape. Dotted with sheep and the sound of bird song filling the air.

Each hut is named after our favourite breeds of sheep, the Norfolk Horn, Herdwick, and Ryeland.
Godwick is 11 miles from Wells- next -the -Sea and Holkham, so a short drive to the spectacular beaches of north Norfolk and therefore a good base for exploring the coast but within reach of the fine city of Norwich. King’s Lynn with its good train links to Cambridge and London is just 17 miles away!
