Set in the peaceful Norfolk village of Tittleshall, this welcoming one-bedroom bungalow provides a relaxing retreat for two, with dogs also invited to join the holiday. Its comfortable, single-storey layout makes it an easy place to settle into after days spent exploring the countryside and coast.
The separate living room offers a private space to unwind, watch television or plan the next day’s adventures. Prepare breakfast or an evening meal in the kitchen, then dine together at the small table for two. The bedroom provides a restful setting, while the bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. Outside, the sunny, south-facing garden is perfect for morning coffee, outdoor dining or simply relaxing with your four-legged companion in the fresh Norfolk air.
Tittleshall is a quiet rural village set between the market towns of Fakenham and Swaffham, making the bungalow a convenient base for discovering the many contrasts of Norfolk.
Visit Fakenham for independent shops, cafés, its weekly market and racecourse, or explore Swaffham’s historic centre and browse its popular Saturday market.
For history and heritage, head to Castle Acre, where the impressive ruins of Castle Acre Priory and the remains of the Norman castle overlook this attractive village. The Sandringham Estate, the Royal Family’s much-loved Norfolk retreat, is also within driving distance, offering woodland walks, landscaped gardens and seasonal events. Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse provides a fascinating day out, while nearby country lanes are ideal for peaceful walks and cycle rides.
Nature lovers can spend time at Pensthorpe Natural Park, with its wetlands, wildlife and beautiful gardens. Alternatively, travel north towards the coast for wide sandy beaches, salt marshes and characterful seaside towns. Wells-next-the-Sea offers a picturesque harbour, colourful beach huts and pine-backed sands, while Holkham is known for its magnificent beach and nature reserve. Burnham Market has boutiques, galleries and inviting places to eat, and Hunstanton provides traditional seaside entertainment and memorable sunsets across The Wash.
After a day beside the sea, visiting historic estates or walking through the Norfolk countryside, return to the bungalow’s peaceful surroundings and enjoy the last of the sunshine in the south-facing garden
