Aptly named River View has a wonderful elevated riverside view along the River Bure. Whilst relaxing on the sofa, you can enjoy watching the boating activity floating by. Situated in the heart of the wonderful National Park Norfolk Broads village of Horning, known as the ’Jewel of the Norfolk Broads’ with a good pub serving food located next door.
This beautifully styled first floor apartment is furnished and equipped to offer comfort. Having social open plan accommodation to offer relaxing family accommodation, boasting sofa bed for additional sleeping. The well equipped kitchen offers opportunity to dine at home, but for those who prefer to dine out, there are plenty of eateries all within a short walk.
Horning village has three welcoming pubs located on the waterside with beer gardens, ideal for a spot of lunch or an evening meal or tipple. There is a village shop, café/tea room, ice cream parlour and sea food restaurant. Boat hire is available nearby, which makes for an excellent way to explore the beauty of the Broads. Alternatively, hire a bike, and discover the pretty villages that surround. A 10 minutes’ drive will take you into Wroxham, the ’Capital of the Broads’, with its riverside cafés, restaurants, shops, mini model village and train station.
From here you can jump on the Bure Valley Steam Railway, with the train stopping at mid station within the pretty waterside village of Coltishall, where you can jump on and off, or continue onto to the popular market town of Aylsham.
Fishing is available along riverside in village, seasonal and with licence required. Excellent sandy beaches within 30 minutes drive. Wide sandy beaches backed by dunes at Sea Palling. Traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth offers activities for every age.
Alternatively, spend a day exploring the city of Norwich, a shoppers delight. Close by is a playing field, complete with children’s amenities. Beach 12 mile
