Dating from 1820, this charming, detached, former gatehouse to Runcton Hall is situated off the Kings Lynn to Norwich road in a small village in north west Norfolk, and is ideally situated for the Norfolk coast with its sandy beaches and RSPB reserves and the nearby Royal Sandringham Estate and museum. Approximately 40 miles from the university town of Cambridge and cities of Norwich and Peterborough. Norfolk offers splendid scenery and buildings of historical interest, local crafts and markets, picturesque villages, lots of good restaurants and pubs, protected coastline and sites for wildlife.
Kings Lynn, the closest town, is an historic port with connections to King John who lost his treasure when he left Lynn to go to Newark. There are some good shops, theatres, restaurants, cafes, museums and lots of quaint alleys and old buildings. Close by is Thetford Forest with adventure park and RSPB Nature Reserve. Stockcar and speedway at the Norfolk Arena, 2 miles.
