The Norfolk Broads National Park is particularly popular in the summer and boat hire is available along with river trips, speed boat racing and a beautiful park from which to stop and watch the world float by. Lowestoft has a lovely beach and there are also all year round dog friendly spots. A short drive south is Southwold, ever popular for its pier, the brightly coloured beach huts and fish and chips. Aldeburgh, RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the Suffolk Heritage Coastline are all within easy reach, making The Shipwreck and The Barnacle the perfect location for your Suffolk Getaway.
The train station is within walking distance of the properties, so why not hop on the train and spend the day in the medieval city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, museums, fine shopping and restaurants.
