Dating back to the 1800s, The Chapel still has many of its original features, including a very high ceiling in the open plan living space which really helps to create the feeling of spacious accommodation and also serve as a great reminder that you are staying in what was a working Methodist chapel until this century. Boasting a modern kitchen, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, The Chapel really does have all you need for a great stay.
Nestled within the sought after village of Hindolveston, the stunning North Norfolk coast lies just 20 minutes away. Visit Blakeney for the quay and the Norfolk pursuit of crabbing, or go a little further west and visit much photographed Wells-next-the-Sea with its wide sandy beach, quaint streets and picturesque quay.
Head east for Weybourne beach and a little further to the bustling coastal market towns of Cromer and Sheringham. The pretty market town of Holt is very popular with the locals and as you discover its unique high street with lots of places to shop, eat and drink, you will soon discover why they flock here to just potter and people watch. History buffs will enjoy trips to Holkham Hall, Blickling Estate and The Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections, the latter of which is home to the famous Thursford Christmas Spectacular show.
With the Norfolk Broads just under 40 minutes away, you should make time for a visit to these famous waterways too. Those looking for a change of pace should plan in a trip to Norwich with its numerous museums, art galleries, cinemas, theatres and of course its imposing Norman castle. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers, and with plenty to do locally, you are sure to be back for a return visit to The Chapel, just to fit it all in. Beach 11½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Spoilt for choice - rural cottage or beach front holiday house? East of England is UK at its best. There are many cottages with dogs allowed in Suffolk coast, South Suffolk or Great Yarmouth - some have Easter breaks.
