Just 3 miles from Stamford, this lovely Grade II listed cottage maintains many original features such as oak beams, exposed internal stone walls and a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner to snuggle up in front of after a day exploring. To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed paved courtyard which is ideal for sitting out peacefully in the sun with a mug of coffee. There is plenty to see and throughout the area with the Nation Trust Belton House and Deer Park 20 minutes’ drive away.
Pasque cottage is in the heart of the village of Barnak which has a newly refurbished gastro pub nearby. A two minute walk from the cottage leads you to a National Nature Reserve that was once a Medieval Quarry. This is the start to many beautiful country walks. The historic town of Stamford is just 3 miles away with an abundance of shops, pubs, bars and restaurants and cafes serving cream tea. Also Stamford is home to Burghley House a great day out can be had exploring the grand house and sculpture garden. Enjoy a bike ride around Rutland Water reservoir a short drive away. Or just enjoy exploring all the surrounding beautiful villages or the scenic Nene Valley.
