Bedroom 2: With double bed and 2ft 6in single bed (for child).

Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Utility room washing machine (private) and tumble dryer (shared with ref UK11343).

Nestled in a pretty village in the very heart of the Peak District National Park, this cottage is part of the old dairy and brims with character. A private gated courtyard gives this property a real sense of seclusion and also offers a space for children and dogs to play outside.

Enjoying a spectacular National Park position, Buttermilk Cottage offers guests great outdoor activities right on the doorstep. Just a short drive from the property, guests will find themselves at Chatsworth House, steeped in history and with beautiful parklands.

Elsewhere, guests can take a gentle walk along the waterside of Bradford Dale or simply stay in the pretty village and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Inside the property there is a beautifully beamed kitchen complete with all the essentials. The beams continue in the living/dining room with a decorative wood-burning stove giving the room a wonderful sense of character. Downstairs there is also a bathroom. A large patio outside, with garden furniture for 6, enjoys all day sunshine. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms with exposed floorboards and wooden beams giving the rooms a cosy, intimate feel.

There is a kingsize bed in the main room, and the large second bedroom has a double bed with an additional single bed.

Buttermilk Cottage and The Old Dairy (ref UK11343) are adjoining and can seat up to 10 people dining together, making it an ideal accommodation choice for a larger group. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
