Heathcote is a quiet hamlet, just one and quarter miles from the popular village of Hartington with its pretty village pond and famed cheese shop, as well as walks along Wolfscote Dale and Beresford Dale alongside the River Dove. Tissington Cycle Trail is just 120 yards, and there is a wealth of fine scenery, historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon House and Hardwick Hall. Livelier is Matlock Bath with its cable cars, Gullivers Kingdom and Alton Towers, whilst the attractive spa town of Buxton and market town of Bakewell are all within a 25 minute drive. Whitehouse Farm is the ideal base to visit all the attractions the Peak District National Park has to offer for all ages. Groceries can be delivered on request. Shops 1¼ miles, pub ¾ mile.
