There are many walks surrounding Buxton such as the High Peak Trail, Tissington Trail, Goyt Valley and many more.

Neighbouring towns such as Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock have great things to offer, and are a short drive from the Castleton Caves or Chatsworth House. If you are a thrill seeker, then Alton Towers theme park is around a 45-minute drive with attractions for all ages.
