For those with four-legged travelling companions a dog hatch leads from the kitchen into the completely enclosed patio area, with seating and barbecue which is great for the long summer nights. You’ll find lots of useful doggy extras, and as an added bonus by prior arrangement with the owner there is even a secure enclosed field a short walk from the property where you can let your dogs have a run around stress free. A short walk will take you into the small friendly town of Whaley Bridge where you’ll find food serving pubs, some dog friendly, cafés and restaurants. There is also a train station with direct services to both Manchester and Buxton. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub ¼ mile.
What do you need - bungalow or riverside? Heart of England has many historic sites to visit. There are many properties that welcome dogs to stay in Stroud, Cirencester or Peak District - some have wonderful walking from the door step.
