For lovers of the great outdoors, Nield Bank Bungalow, standing detached, offers an idyllic picturesque location, with the final approach to the cottage taking you directly to the centre of the fabulous White Peak countryside. An abundance of walking is available direct from the doorstep, including to the village of Flash (the highest village in England), where you can embark on the Three Shires Heads route, where the counties of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire meet.
Although a truly rural location and perfect for getting away from it all, the spa town of Buxton, famous for its water and opera house, is just 5 miles away. A friendly local shop and pub serving food is less than a mile away, and a number of other Peak District towns and villages are easily accessible, including Longnor with its quaint cobbledmarket square which is just a 10-minute drive.
The ever popular villages of Hartington, Eyam and Castleton are all easily reachable in around half an hour, as is the busy market town of Bakewell and the Alton Towers theme park.
