This cosy renovated barn has been furnished to a good standard and offers a great base to explore the Goyt Valley and Buxton on foot, cycle or by car. It has a galleried landing over the lounge leading to a good sized bedroom and bathroom. The cottage is only a short drive from the small town of Whaley Bridge and a stone’s throw away from many walks within the Peak District National Park. Fernilee is within walking distance of both Fernilee and Erwood reservoirs and the walks start from the front door. There is also a cosy country pub within a few minutes walk offering home cooked food and a warm welcome. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.
What do you need - mansion house or forrest retreat? Heart of England is very hospitable. You will find properties that welcome dogs to stay in Cheltenham, Painswick or Forest of Dean - some have wonderful walking from the door step.
