This delightful, three-storey cottage from the early 1800s has been renovated throughout with contemporary interiors, and has a landing area with two comfortable chairs on the second floor where you can unwind. It is found in the centre of the pretty Cotswold village, Hook Norton, just a stone’s throw from one of the local village pubs and close to the village shop. The cottage boasts outstanding views of the village and a surprisingly large private garden. Hook Norton is famous for its brewery, one of the last few remaining Victorian breweries in the UK which produces award-winning real ales, and has a visitor centre, café and guided tours.
If you’re more of a spirits drinker, the Cotswold Distillery is just over 5 miles away where you can go to sample local gin and whisky. Situated between Chipping Norton and Banbury, the cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds; close by are the picturesque market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Morton-in-the-Marsh.
