A classic black and white, Grade II listed cottage dating back to the 1600s is situated in the thriving village of Eckington with its famed stone bridge next to the River Avon in the Vale of Evesham. With plenty of character and original charm, this spacious two bedroom cottage, each with its own en-suite, makes an ideal getaway for small families, friends and couples wishing to stay in a beautiful, quintessential, English cottage in Worcestershire. The living room boasts a lovely fireplace with a roaring fire on a cold evening, but in the warmer months you can enjoy sitting out in the large well-kept garden. Manor Cottage is a short walk from the river and there is a circular walk along the river bank to a picturesque lock.

Eckington lies below Bredon Hill and is situated between Pershore and Tewkesbury, has two pubs to choose from, a village store and the famous Eckington Manor Cookery School where you can brush up on your cooking skills or just enjoy a fantastic meal in their restaurant, all within a few yards from Manor Cottage.

The village of Eckington hosts many events and fêtes including a popular music festival, and is a great place to start a country walk or cycle with Bredon Hill close by, but if you want to venture further afield, there is plenty to see and do in the area.

The Georgian town of Pershore is 4 miles away where you can find many high street shops, tea shops, boutiques and supermarkets, and the train line from here runs to London Paddington station.

The historic riverside town of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire is 7 miles away where you can visit Tewkesbury Abbey in the centre of the town, or the museum. Enjoy one of the many scenic and historic trails through the town, take a boat trip along the River Avon or attend one of the many events, celebrations and festivals throughout the year.
A short drive will take you into the Cotswolds where you can explore the many pretty towns and villages including Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. The Regency town of Cheltenham where you can enjoy a day at the races, is 14 miles, Upton-upon-Severn is 7 miles and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is 24 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards
