Riverside Cottage is a detached property, set within a quiet residential area, overlooking the meadow which runs down to the River Avon. This is the perfect cottage to stay with friends and family. It is a delightful house with a contemporary décor. There is an enclosed garden where you can relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day, or dine alfresco with use of a barbecue. Within a 5-minute walk, you will find yourself in the heart of the bustling market town of Evesham with an array shops, traditional pubs and tea rooms, or take a lovely walk along the River Avon.
With plenty of cycle routes and footpaths leading from the property and through the town, it’s a great area to discover without the car. Spend a lazy Sunday afternoon listening to the band play at the Victorian bandstand in the local park (June-September) or enjoy the annual boat festival in July. Take a visit to Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon, where you can visit his birthplace, and watch a play at the theatre. There are many independent and high street shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms all within 15 miles.
The cathedral city of Worcester, also famous for its Royal Worcester pottery, is 16 miles and Cheltenham with its famous festival is 15 miles. You can be in the heart of the Cotswolds within 6 miles. Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden are quintessentially English small towns and villages that make this area a popular place to visit. The Malvern Hills can also be enjoyed. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
