First floor:
Bedroom 2: With double bed and en-suite with shower over bath, and toilet.

Night storage heating, (underfloor heating (in bathroom), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot. Garden with garden furniture and built-in barbecue. Ample parking. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only.

Situated in the small conservation village of Hollinsclough, some 1¾ miles from Longnor, this excellent detached barn conversion makes an ideal holiday base in the heart of the Peak Park. The spacious living room is open to the eaves with exposed timbers, a Peak Stone fireplace with black cast iron stove and flagged floors with scatter rugs. Rockery gardens and a walled herbed garden surround this superb home which is set in 6 acres with footpaths from the door.
Just a short drive away, Buxton awaits with its stunning architecture, Victorian charm, and the famous Buxton Opera House. Take a stroll through the Pavilion Gardens, where lush greenery and vibrant flowers create a tranquil setting. Buxton’s spa heritage is reflected in its thermal baths, offering a relaxing retreat for those seeking a bit of pampering.


For those enchanted by history and culture, Matlock is a haven. Perched along the River Derwent, Matlock Bath is a spa town boasting Victorian promenades and a cable car that takes you to the Heights of Abraham, offering breathtaking views of the Derbyshire Dales. Explore the town’s antique shops, cafes, and the impressive Victorian Matlock Bath Illuminations during the autumn months.
A short drive south takes you to Bakewell, a charming market town known for its Bakewell Pudding.
