First Floor:

Bathroom 1: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Front garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.

The Piglet is located within a working farm and is the end wing of a 400-year-old former cow house. There are five steep steps up to a small decking area with a bistro set, where you can sit outside the front door and take in the farm life, as well as the stunning views down the hills. Enter into the property to the open plan living area and kitchen; this is a warm and cosy environment. The living area has ample comfortable seating, with a sofa that doubles up as a sofa bed, and there is a TV and an electric wood burner. The kitchen has everything you should need to have a hearty breakfast before you head out exploring or to cook your favourite meals on your return home after a fun-filled day.

Upstairs is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower, it is lovely and light and has many original characteristics.
The farm is located between the River Dove and the River Manifold, both fantastic walking spots where you can roam for miles. Longnor village is around 2 miles from the property where there is a local shop and village atmosphere, further afield is the nearest town of Buxton which is full of restaurants and shops, a park, and the famous opera house with shows frequently put on.


To the other side of The Piglet is the town of Leek, which also has some great food spots and shops. You are in a prime location here to explore the Dales of the Peak District and this central position means you are close by to all it has to offer. Please note to expect some noise from either tractors or the animals but this just adds to your experience
