Set just outside of the rural village of Kingsland close to the market towns of Leominster, Ludlow and Hereford and is well served with a village shop and pubs. Local attractions are plentiful and range from scenic tours such as the Black and White Village Trail, and the local ruins of a motte and bailey castle, to historic National Trust Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Brockhampton Estate.

There are activity centres at Oaker Wood Leisure, set just outside the village, and can entertain families and adults alike with paintballing, quad biking and more (please note this is for advanced group bookings only), The Offa’s Dyke Trail on the neighbouring Welsh Borders, Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre, gliding on The Long Mynd in nearby Shropshire, and canoeing .
