Spanning a large floor area, you’ll find an awe-inspiring collection of antiques in this home, with every corner telling a different story and capturing a different mood.
The well-equipped kitchen is more than just a place to cook in –it makes an ideal spot for socialising before you sit down for a meal in the very grand dining room, after which you can retreat to the living room or your own personal bar area and enjoy a drink by the wood burner.
Littlecoates boasts a large master four poster bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath , a living area and walk in dressing area.

The other bedrooms on the first floor have amazing views from each window of the rolling hills beyond.
When the weather permits, you can take your meals outside to the fantastic Gazebo with seating and warmers. There are also the superb gardens to enjoy. Just sit relax and listen to the birdsong.
We highly recommend packing comfortable shoes because this is an area you’ll want to explore on foot. Enjoy long country walks, then end up in a village pub for a hearty meal and a local brew. The small, rural village of Ashover is peacefully situated in the Amber Valley, just five miles from Matlock. The village itself has several good pubs and eateries, including the Crispin Inn, renowned as one of the oldest pubs in the Peak District and The Old Poets’ Corner which offers home-brewed Ashover ales, let’s not forget the local post office with great coffee shop and cakes to die for.

The Nearby county town of Matlock, a former spa town, offers a host of fine eating places, good shops, bistros and wine bars and an interesting museum, whilst at the heart of the town, Hall Leys Park provides a lovely setting for a host of recreational activities such as bowls, tennis and boating. Enjoy a thrilling day at Gulliver’s Kingdom, with its owl maze, water gardens, nature trails, exhilarating rides and cable car trips over the magnificent Matlock Gorge. Follow the High Peak Cycle Trail, explore the lovely market town of Bakewell, famous for the Bakewell pudding, or visit the elegant Chatsworth House and Hardwick Hall where it all started for the Cavendish family. You certainly will not be short of things to do in this wonderful location that’s if you can tear yourself away from this amazing property!
