Perkins Cottage really is a hidden gem, from the outside the cottage looks every bit the wonderful country cottage that it is and inside will not disappoint either. Situated in the picturesque village of Woolley Moor on the edge of Ogston Reservoir North Derbyshire, the house is close to the edge of the Peak District National Park and the Derbyshire towns of Matlock and Bakewell.
A beautifully designed interior greets you with an entrance hall/boot room to store those boots after a hard day exploring, alongside a modern family bathroom. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with everything you would expect from a cottage this special. The comfy living room is a great place to chill and relax with friends and family.

The dining room features French doors leading out to a secret secluded garden area. The first floor offers 3 good sized bedrooms and a family shower room. This really is a special find!
There are lovely country walks to be enjoyed directly from the property and plenty of off-road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels. Nearby Ashover offers a post office, village shop and a quaint coffee shop to enjoy. Matlock has a variety of shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, pubs, weekly market and parks. Matlock Bath is a well-known resort area on the River Derwent, visit popular Heights of Abraham cable cars, enjoy fish and chips, and attend numerous entertainments throughout the year.

The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn bringing in the crowds and lighting up the sky.
Convenient for the bustling towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock, Perkins Cottage is perfect for exploring this amazing area. Nearby are some of the UK’s most famous stately homes including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall. For those who wish to be more active, Carsington Water is close to Oldfield where you can find a whole range of leisure experiences on offer, or simply take advantage of the superb walks from the door.
