Banksiae is inspired by the climbing rose "Banksiae Lutea", whose sprays of pale lemon blooms festoon the walls of the nursery house each spring.
Named after the intrepid explorer SirJoseph Banks who studied in Oxford before setting off on his famous plant hunting voyages of discovery for Kew.
After your own day’s exploration of Oxfordshire’s delightful countryside and attractions you can return to the leafy surroundings of the nursery "Tea Garden. " There you can relax and enjoy a delicious slice of handmade cake and a cup or two of English tea whilst planning your next day’s adventure.
