This cosy detached, beamed 200-year-old cottage, with a delightful west facing garden with views over the Berkshire Downs, nestles in a small hamlet outside historic Abingdon and a few miles from Oxford. On the banks of the Thames, Abingdon, purported to be the oldest town in England, is steeped in history with many fine old buildings.

Oxford is the city of dreaming spires famous for its university, the Bodleian Library and Inspector Morse. There is so much to do and see in the area including boat hire, walking in the Downs, cycling on the National Cycle Route or spend a day at Blenheim Palace and finally return to the peaceful cottage garden and watch the sun set over the Berkshire Downs.
