Tinkerbell Cottage is a superb, family-friendly cottage tucked away within the countryside village of Prees Green, Whitchurch. A spacious character cottage with original beams and lower doorways in parts, this property lies adjacent to the owner’s home and must be seen! It offers two reception rooms, log fires and a well-equipped kitchen, plus a covered outside seating area where you can dine al fresco whilst enjoying the outdoor swimming pool. This charming, detached property is an ideal base for a family getaway. The cosy living room is the perfect place for watching a movie on the TV with DVD player. The handy utility room with washing machine is ideal for keeping your holiday clothes fresh; it is a warm room where you can store your outdoor gear after a day out exploring in the hills. Upstairs are three bedrooms, each offering flexible sleeping arrangements. There are two kingsized bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower and mini bath, and a very cute cubby hole connecting the third bedroom offering three singles plus a day bed, allowing up to four guests to be accommodated very comfortably, plus a very fun room for children.

The fourth bedroom is conveniently located on the ground floor, and has its own en-suite. There is another ground floor shower room for extra added convenience after using the swimming pool. Outside there is ample parking for cars, complemented by an enclosed garden to the rear with two dining areas. One area is covered and has a barbecue and lovely outdoor table and chairs. The other area is uncovered with picnic-style furniture and decking by the swimming pool.
Tinkerbell Cottage is ideally located for a rural retreat, far enough away from civilisation but close enough to not feel isolated. The popular market town of Whitchurch is just 10 minutes away and offers a wealth of independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Other local activities include stunning walks from Grinshill; you can plan out your route and enjoy panoramic views of Shropshire. Or there’s Hawkstone Park, where the activities on offer are endless for the whole family. Alderford Lake is very close by also.
Further afield, within 40 minutes, is The Treetop Adventure and The Crocky Trail making a great day out for children. Shrewsbury is full of finds to be discovered by foot or by boat - the River Severn is a must, as is the café culture, the castle and the churches that dominate Shrewsbury’s famous skyline. In the other direction and approximately 45 minutes’ drive away, is the historical city of Chester with its excellent shopping and famous races, Blue Planet Aquarium and of course Chester Zoo. Tinkerbell Cottage promises an idyllic holiday retreat for the whole family to enjo
