Extra Amenities

Offering beautiful, far reaching countryside views over magnificent Staffordshire countryside, The Cartshed is in a truly rural location on the site of a working farm, near the small hamlet of Slindon. This wonderful barn conversion was completed in 2018, and the property benefits from full underfloor heating and is spread out over one level with just a couple of steps down to three of the four bedrooms. The spacious living/dining room makes a fabulous social area with a wood burner as a focal point - perfect for cosy winter months. During the summer, throw open the bi-folding doors onto the enclosed terrace, sit back and relax, and enjoy the outside space. Your four-legged friend is well catered for too with a dog wash station, treats and dog bowls all provided.

Situated in the middle of England, close to the Staffordshire and Shropshire borders, this area offers unspoilt landscapes, the Peak District National Park and world-class theme parks. The historic town of Eccleshall is around a 10-minute drive, offering many shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as an award-winning butcher, and also hosts a farmers’ market every fourth Saturday of the month.

Around 130 public footpaths cover the area, perfect for walking and exploring, and Stoke-on-Trent, Hanley (hosting the Staffordshire Hoard), Stafford and Newcastle-under-Lyme can all be reached in under half an hour.

Other places of interest include Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest and Bridgemere Garden Centre. National Trust properties Shugborough Hall and Weston Park, Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and the theme parks of Alton Towers and Drayton Manor are all around an hour away. The Cartshed really is the perfect place to sit back, relax and catch up or explore the abundance of attractions available within easy reach. With easy access from the M6 at Junction 15 from the north, and Junction 14 from the south, The Cartshed really is the perfect place to sit back, relax and catch up, or explore the abundance of attractions within easy reach.
