Newbold and Alderminster have an excellent quality local pub and restaurant, along with a farmer’s shop that sells top quality local food and produce and all are within walking distance.

Guests will be able to visit Stratford-upon-Avon, 6 miles, world famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. This historic market town offers guests the chance to visit many of the local attractions including Shakespeare’s birthplace, Ann Hathaway’s cottage, Mary Arden’s farm and also the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre, that sits right on the banks of the picturesque River Avon. Also great for a shopping trip, there are plenty of top quality boutiques, shops, tea shops, restaurants, bistros and pubs to explore and enjoy. The drive to the Cotswolds will take no longer than thirty minutes too, and guests should definitely make time to visit one of the many Cotswold towns and villages including Chipping Campden, Shipston on Stour, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway, which are fantastic examples of the quintessentially English culture. A little further afield but still within an hour’s drive, guests will find the magnificent cathedral cities of Worcester and Oxford as well as Regency Cheltenham, with its racecourse, Birmingham NEC, Chipping Norton, Banbury, Evesham and Bicester.
